3.Unofficial Status and Institutional Independence

3.1

The Portal is an independently developed student utility platform. It is not operated by FAST-NUCES and is not an official FAST-NUCES system.

3.2

The Portal does not represent FAST-NUCES. Nothing in the Portal is a statement, decision, policy or communication of FAST-NUCES unless it is expressly attributed to FAST-NUCES and can be traced to an official FAST-NUCES source.

3.3

References to FAST, FAST-NUCES, its campus, its departments or its published data are descriptive. They identify the community the Portal serves and the sources of certain information, and they do not establish endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation.

3.4

The Official classification applied to certain Notices is a classification assigned within the Portal under Section 7. It does not mean that the Portal is operated by FAST-NUCES and it does not imply institutional endorsement of the Portal.

3.5

Where information is consequential, including class schedules, examination schedules, deadlines, fees, academic requirements and institutional policies, Users should verify it through the appropriate official FAST-NUCES channels before relying on it.

3.6

Names, logos and marks of FAST-NUCES belong to their respective owners. The Portal claims no ownership of them.

4.Eligibility and Accounts

4.1

The Portal is intended for students, staff and others connected with FAST-NUCES Islamabad. Certain Services can be used without an Account, including viewing timetables, Notices, the Academic Calendar, prayer times, available Marketplace Listings and active Lost & Found reports. An Account is required to post or contact other Users, to save listings, to start or join a Jama'ah Session and to use other Services that act on behalf of a particular User.

4.2

To register, a User provides an email address and password, or signs in with Google, and provides a display name. Department, profile photograph, cover photograph and a short biography are optional. A User must provide accurate information and keep it current.

4.3

The Portal does not verify the identity, enrolment, employment or affiliation of Users at registration. A display name, department or profile statement is declared by the User and is not verified by the Portal, and other Users should not treat it as verified.

4.4

A User is responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under the User's Account. An Account password is separate from any university account, is never used to access university systems, and a User should not reuse a university password for the Portal. A User must notify the Portal Operator promptly through Section 25 of any suspected unauthorized access.

4.5

A User must not create an Account to impersonate another person or organization, must not create a fraudulent Account, must not create additional Accounts to evade a restriction, and must not share or transfer an Account.

4.6

A User may manage name visibility and Connection request preferences in the Account privacy settings, as described in the Privacy Policy. The Portal Operator may restrict, suspend or terminate an Account as described in Section 18.

5.Acceptable Use

5.1

The Portal must be used lawfully, in good faith and in accordance with these Terms and the other Legal Documents.

5.2

A User must not use the Portal to:

  • violate any applicable law or facilitate unlawful activity;
  • harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk or abuse any person;
  • impersonate any person, society, department, office or FAST-NUCES, or misrepresent an affiliation;
  • commit fraud, or knowingly submit false or misleading information;
  • send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or repeated unwanted contact;
  • make unsolicited sexual or romantic approaches to other Users;
  • use malicious automation, including automated account creation, automated submission of Content or automated participation in Jama'ah Sessions;
  • gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any Account, data, storage or system;
  • circumvent, disable or test security controls, or exploit a vulnerability, instead of reporting it as described in the clause that follows this list;
  • abuse reporting or blocking features, including by making knowingly false or retaliatory reports;
  • post or transmit malicious links, files or code, or content intended to obtain credentials or harm a device;
  • interfere with the availability, performance or integrity of the Portal;
  • collect, compile or misuse other Users' personal information without authorization, or attempt to identify a User who has chosen to remain anonymous;
  • manipulate or misrepresent a classification or label, including Official, Verified, Community, Sponsored and Paid promotion; or
  • engage in any other conduct that is reasonably inconsistent with the intended operation of the Portal or that is harmful to other Users.
5.3

A security vulnerability or suspected security issue should be reported through the contact pathway in Section 25 and should not be exploited, tested against other Users' data or disclosed publicly before the Portal Operator has had a reasonable opportunity to respond.

5.4

Breach of this Section may result in action under Section 18.

6.User-Generated Content

6.1

A User is solely responsible for the User Content the User submits. The Portal supports User Content in profile information, Marketplace Listings and their photographs, Lost & Found reports and their photographs, Connection requests and messages, Jama'ah Session notes and reports made to the Portal Operator.

6.2

By submitting User Content, a User represents that the User Content is accurate to the best of the User's knowledge, is lawful, does not infringe the rights of any person, does not breach these Terms or the other Legal Documents, and that the User has the right to submit it, including any photograph or personal information of another person that it contains.

6.3

User Content must not be abusive, fraudulent, misleading, explicit, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate. Uploaded photographs must be genuine and relevant to the context in which they are posted, and must not contain unrelated or inappropriate material.

6.4

A User retains ownership of User Content. A User grants the Portal Operator a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, display and transmit the User Content solely as needed to operate, secure and provide the Portal, including displaying it to other Users in accordance with the visibility that applies to each Service and to the User's settings. The permission applies for as long as the User Content is held by the Portal and is not used for any other purpose.

6.5

Some User Content is visible to persons who are not signed in, including available Marketplace Listings and active Lost & Found reports. A User should not include information that the User does not wish to be publicly visible. Visibility is described in the Privacy Policy.

6.6

The Portal Operator does not pre-screen all User Content and is not obliged to monitor it. The Portal Operator may review, restrict, place under review or remove User Content that is reported or that appears to breach these Terms, with or without notice where appropriate, and may take action against the responsible Account under Section 18.

6.7

A Marketplace Listing may be reported from its listing page, and a User, a Connection request or a message may be reported from the Connections and Chat screens. Any other User Content, including a Lost & Found report, may be reported through Section 25.

6.8

Statements and opinions in User Content are those of the User who submitted them. They are not those of the Portal Operator or FAST-NUCES.

7.FAST Notices

7.1

FAST Notices is a campus bulletin. Notices can be read without an Account. Publishing is restricted to Accounts that the Portal Operator has approved as publishers. An ordinary Account cannot publish a Notice. Every Notice is displayed under the common label "FAST Portal". The Portal retains the identity of the publishing Account internally and does not display it.

7.2

Every Notice carries one of three source classifications:

Official
A system-controlled classification. It is available only to Accounts that the Portal Operator has authorized to publish under that classification, for announcements from a source that the Portal Operator has treated as an authorized institutional source. It is a classification assigned within the Portal and does not mean that the Portal is operated by or speaks for FAST-NUCES.
Verified
A system-controlled classification. It indicates that the source has been verified under the Portal's applicable process as a known campus source, such as a society or department.
Community
A classification for community-originated content that does not carry Official or Verified status. The Portal does not assert the credibility of a Community Notice.
7.3

Source classifications are controlled by the Portal's systems and are assigned only to approved publishing Accounts for the classifications that the Portal Operator has granted to them. No User may select, assign, alter or claim Official or Verified status by the User's own action, and misrepresenting a classification is prohibited under Section 5.

7.4

A Notice may also carry a content label that is independent of its source classification: Sponsored, Paid promotion, or both. Sponsored and Paid promotion are distinct. Both are described in Section 14. A Sponsored Notice cannot carry the Official classification.

7.5

The Portal does not guarantee that every Notice is accurate, complete or institutionally authoritative. This applies to every classification. A User should verify consequential information through the appropriate official source.

7.6

A Notice may be given an expiry time. After a Notice expires or is archived it is no longer shown as current in the public list. Archived Notices are retained and may remain accessible to the publishing Account for management. The Portal Operator may archive or remove a Notice at any time.

8.Marketplace

8.1

Marketplace is a discovery and contact service that allows Users to publish Marketplace Listings for items and to contact other Users about them. The Portal Operator is not a party to any sale or agreement between Users. The Portal Operator is not a buyer, seller, agent, broker, auctioneer or escrow provider and does not take possession of any item.

8.2

Marketplace does not process payments, hold funds, arrange delivery, provide escrow or enforce transactions. Marketplace Listings are free of charge. Any payment, handover or delivery takes place between Users outside the Portal.

8.3

A seller is responsible for the following:

  • the accuracy of the title, category, condition, price in Pakistani rupees, description and photographs of each Marketplace Listing, and for ensuring that photographs show the actual item;
  • disclosing known defects and the true condition of the item;
  • owning the item or having the right to sell it, and ensuring that the sale is lawful;
  • keeping each Marketplace Listing current, and marking it as sold or removing it when the item is no longer available; and
  • complying with the limits applied by the Portal, which are currently up to six photographs per listing, up to twenty active listings per seller and a listing duration of thirty days unless the seller renews the listing.
8.4

A buyer is responsible for evaluating the Marketplace Listing and the item, for inspecting an item before paying for it, for confirming the seller's statements, for complying with applicable law and for communicating respectfully with the seller.

8.5

The following may not be listed: illegal or dangerous goods, stolen items, counterfeit goods, weapons, and any item that the seller does not own or does not have the right to sell. The Marketplace Guidelines set out further listing standards. Prohibited or ineligible items remain prohibited regardless of any other status of the listing.

8.6

A buyer contacts a seller through the Portal's Connection request mechanism. The Portal does not share telephone numbers or email addresses, and Users should not post them in Marketplace Listings. The seller's name is displayed in accordance with the seller's privacy setting. Signed-out visitors can browse available Marketplace Listings but must sign in to contact a seller, save a listing or report a listing.

8.7

The Portal does not guarantee the identity of any seller or buyer, the condition, authenticity, ownership or availability of any item, the price, payment, delivery or completion of any transaction, or any refund, return or warranty.

8.8

A Marketplace Listing may be active, sold, expired, removed or under review. Only active listings, and sold listings for a limited period, appear in browsing results. A direct link to an expired or sold listing may still open and is labelled accordingly, but its photographs may no longer be available. Listings that are removed or under review are not shown to other Users.

8.9

A Marketplace Listing can be reported as a scam or fraud, a prohibited item, misleading information, a duplicate or spam, harassment, or for another reason. A User may report a given listing once and cannot report the User's own listing. A User may block another User, and listings are then hidden between the two Users. The Portal Operator may review reports and take action under Section 18.

8.10

Disputes between Users concerning a sale, payment, condition or ownership are to be resolved between those Users. The Portal Operator is not obliged to mediate or adjudicate them. For personal safety, Users should arrange meetings in public places on campus.

9.Messaging and Connections

9.1

Find FASTians allows a User to search for other Users and to send a Connection request that states a purpose and may include a short message. A Connection request may be accepted, declined or cancelled. When a request is accepted, the two Users can exchange private messages in the Portal. Marketplace and Lost & Found contact use the same Connection request mechanism.

9.2

Connection requests are intended for genuine academic, course-related, study, project, society, campus-related and similarly appropriate connections. A User should select an accurate purpose when sending a request.

9.3

A User may send a Connection request without disclosing the User's identity, and a User whose name is set to be hidden appears to others as "Anonymous Fastian Kid". Anonymity applies to what the other User sees and not to the User's accountability to the Portal: the Account remains associated with the request for authorization, abuse prevention and moderation. Identities are revealed to each other only after both connected Users explicitly agree. Attempting to identify an anonymous User outside the Portal, or pressuring a User to disclose an identity, is prohibited.

9.4

A User is responsible for the messages the User sends. Harassment, threats, spam, unwanted or repeated contact, impersonation, fraud, malicious links, sexual or romantic solicitation, and the collection or misuse of another User's personal information are prohibited. Using contact established through the Portal to harass, threaten or abuse another person may result in removal of access.

9.5

A User may block another User and may report a User, a Connection request or a message. Reports are reviewed with account-level information retained for moderation, even where a User appeared anonymous to the reporting User.

9.6

Messages are private communications between the participants within the Portal's interface. They are not end-to-end encrypted. They are stored by the Portal and may be accessed by the Portal Operator where necessary to operate the Portal, to review a report, to address abuse or a security matter, or to comply with a legal obligation. Further detail is in the Privacy Policy.

9.7

A User should not send passwords, payment details, government identification numbers or other sensitive information in a message.

10.Lost & Found

10.1

Lost & Found is intended strictly for genuine lost and found items on campus. It must not be used for buying, selling, advertising or any purpose unrelated to reuniting people with misplaced items.

10.2

A User who submits a Lost & Found report must provide a truthful description of the item and of where and when it was lost or found. A User must not claim an item that does not belong to the User and must not submit a fraudulent report or claim.

10.3

An active Lost & Found report is visible to anyone, including persons who are not signed in. The report displays the reporter's contact name, department and preferred contact method, together with the report content and photographs. A User should not include sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to resolve the case, and a person who found an item should consider withholding distinguishing details so that ownership can be confirmed.

10.4

A person who wishes to respond to a report contacts the reporter through the Portal's Connection request mechanism. Arrangements to return an item are made between the Users concerned. The Portal does not verify ownership and does not mediate return arrangements.

10.5

When arranging an exchange, Users should meet in a public place on campus. For valuable or sensitive items, a User should also contact the relevant university office directly.

10.6

The Portal does not guarantee that a lost item will be found or that a found item will be returned to its owner.

10.7

A reporter may mark a report as resolved or delete it, and deleting a report also deletes its photographs. Resolved reports no longer appear as active. The Portal Operator may remove a report that breaches these Terms. A concern about a Lost & Found report is reported through Section 25.

11.FAST Salah and Jama'ah

11.1

FAST Salah displays prayer times for the Islamabad campus as informational data. The times are retrieved from a third-party calculation service, AlAdhan, through a server function operated for the Portal. The Portal requests the University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi calculation method for the coordinates of Islamabad, and applies the Shafi'i (standard) juristic method for Asr by default, with a Hanafi option that a User may select. The times may differ from other sources or from a local mosque. When the source is unavailable, no times are shown.

11.2

The Portal is not a religious authority. It does not issue religious rulings, does not represent any mosque or religious body, and makes no theological claim.

11.3

Prayer times and active Jama'ah Sessions can be viewed without an Account. Starting or joining a Jama'ah Session requires an Account so that participation is genuine and counted once per person. Participation is anonymous to other Users, and only the total number of participants is displayed. The Account remains associated with participation for abuse prevention and moderation.

11.4

A User who creates a Jama'ah Session must genuinely intend to organize or attend congregational prayer at the FAST Masjid and must provide accurate information about the prayer and its timing. The creator selects a duration of 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes and may add an optional note that relates only to organizing the prayer. A cooldown of 30 minutes applies between the creation of sessions. The creator may end a session earlier, and a session expires automatically at the end of its duration. An expired session cannot be joined and is not kept as a history visible to Users.

11.5

A User must not create misleading or fabricated sessions, misrepresent whether a Jama'ah will take place, inflate or manipulate participant counts, automate participation, use notes to harass others, or otherwise disrupt the feature.

11.6

A Jama'ah Session reflects what participants have indicated and is not a verified physical event. The Portal does not guarantee that a Jama'ah will take place, that any number of persons will attend, or that any person will be present at the stated place and time.

11.7

A session that appears false, abusive or otherwise in breach of these Terms may be reported through Section 25. Repeated or serious breach may result in loss of access to the feature. Acceptance of the Jama'ah terms is recorded against the Account for the version accepted.

12.Academic Information and Semester Simulation

12.1

Academic information in the Portal, including timetables, the Academic Calendar, examination schedules, class and section listings and faculty information, is derived from published or supplied sources. It is provided for information and convenience. It does not alter or replace any official academic record and is not an academic decision, institutional determination or professional academic advice.

12.2

A User remains responsible for verifying course registration, section assignment, class schedules, examination details, deadlines, academic requirements and institutional policies with the appropriate official FAST-NUCES source.

12.3

Custom Timetable, Clash Finder and similar tools help a User organize the User's own schedule. Customizations are the User's own choices, are stored for the User's Account or device, and do not change the official timetable or constitute course registration.

12.4

The Portal includes a Semester Simulator. It presents hypothetical, projected or calculated academic outcomes from numbers the User enters, such as course marks, assessment weights, grades and a current CGPA, and from the User's own timetable on the Portal, which can supply course names, course codes, credit hours and lab status, using the grade points and credit-weighted SGPA and CGPA method published by FAST-NUCES. The Simulator is a planning tool only. It does not read, create or change any official academic record, and it does not convert marks into letter grades. Credit hours shown from the timetable data, including estimates from class length and values the User chooses, are simulation inputs and not an official academic record. Its outputs are hypothetical, depend on the underlying data and any configured rules, are not guarantees, do not alter official academic records, and do not constitute institutional academic decisions or professional academic advice. A User must verify academic requirements with the appropriate official source. The Portal does not assert FAST-NUCES academic policies that it cannot source.

12.5

The Exams feature displays examination schedule information derived from the examination schedule published by FAST-NUCES Islamabad. The data is retrieved from the published source spreadsheet and processed through an automated parsing, normalization and validation process. An entry that cannot be reliably interpreted is excluded rather than approximated and is not displayed.

12.6

The Portal does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy or timeliness of examination schedule information. The examination schedule published by the university remains the authoritative source, and a User is responsible for independently verifying the examination date, time, room and any other detail before relying on it. Access to the Exams feature requires acceptance of exam-specific terms, which are recorded once on the User's device and requested again only if those terms are materially updated.

13.Information and Utility Services

13.1

The Portal provides utility Services that currently include the daily and weekly timetable, Custom Timetable, Clash Finder, All Classes, Teacher Finder, Available Rooms, the Academic Calendar, the Campus Directory, the Cafe Menu, Share and Export, Class Reminders, Ask FAST Portal, FAST Notices, FAST Salah and Exams.

13.2

These Services present information obtained from published sources, from data compiled for the Portal and from User Content. The information may be incomplete, delayed, changed or unavailable, and may depend on external or user-provided sources. Where a source leaves an entry unclear, the Portal may leave it blank rather than approximate it.

13.3

Available Rooms is derived from timetable data. It indicates that no class is scheduled in the data and does not indicate that a room is unoccupied, available for booking or authorized for use.

13.4

The Campus Directory reproduces names, designations and email addresses from official faculty listings as published, and may be out of date. The Cafe Menu is informational, and actual items, prices and availability may differ.

13.5

Class Reminders are optional browser notifications scheduled from a User's selected timetable. Delivery depends on the device, browser, operating system, network connection and notification permissions. Delivery on time, or at all, is not guaranteed, and a User should not rely on reminders alone.

13.6

Ask FAST Portal answers questions using information that is already available within the Portal. Its answers may be incomplete or incorrect and are subject to this Section.

13.7

A User should verify consequential information, including class times, examination details and deadlines, with the appropriate authoritative source.

15.Intellectual Property

15.1

The Portal's software, original user interface, original Content and branding are owned by the Portal Operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable law.

15.2

A User is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Portal for personal, non-commercial, campus-related purposes in accordance with these Terms.

15.3

Except as permitted by law or by a Service intended for personal use, such as Share and Export, a User must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, scrape or create derivative works from the Portal or its Content, and must not remove any ownership notice.

15.4

Names, logos, marks and data of FAST-NUCES, and the marks of Third-Party Services, belong to their respective owners. The Portal claims no ownership of them, and their appearance in the Portal does not grant any licence to Users.

15.5

User Content remains the property of the User, subject to Section 6.

15.6

A person who believes that Content in the Portal infringes the person's rights may report it through Section 25, identifying the work concerned and the location of the Content. The Portal Operator may review the report and remove the Content.

16.Third-Party Services and External Links

16.1

The Portal relies on the following Third-Party Services:

  • Supabase, for authentication, database, file storage and server functions;
  • Google, for Google sign-in, for reading the published timetable and examination source spreadsheets, for web fonts and for an advertising script;
  • AlAdhan, for prayer times;
  • Umami Cloud, for website usage statistics; and
  • the push notification services of a User's browser, for Class Reminders and announcements that a User has chosen to receive.
16.2

The Portal also contains external links, including a link to the Portal founder's LinkedIn profile, and refers to official FAST-NUCES web pages as sources. Third-Party Services and external sites are subject to their own terms and policies, and the Portal Operator does not control them and is not responsible for them.

16.3

A change to, or failure of, a Third-Party Service or data source may affect the Services that depend on it, as described in Section 17. The data practices relating to Third-Party Services are described in the Privacy Policy.

17.Availability and Service Changes

17.1

The Portal is provided on an as-available basis. Availability may be interrupted by maintenance, outages, technical failures, the failure of a Third-Party Service or a change to a data source.

17.2

The Portal Operator may change, suspend or discontinue any Service or feature, and may change limits and durations that apply to a Service, at any time. Where a significant change affects Users, the Portal Operator will take reasonable steps to give notice where practicable.

17.3

The Portal Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any Content will be retained for any particular period.

18.Suspension and Termination

18.1

The Portal Operator may remove or restrict Content, place a Marketplace Listing under review or remove it, restrict a feature such as messaging or Jama'ah Sessions, or suspend or terminate an Account, where the Portal Operator reasonably determines that any of the following applies:

  • a breach of these Terms or the other Legal Documents;
  • abuse or harassment of a User or of the Portal;
  • fraud or deception;
  • a threat to the security or integrity of the Portal or of any User;
  • unlawful activity; or
  • a legal requirement.
18.2

Action will take account of the seriousness and repetition of the conduct, the reports received and the risk to others. The Portal Operator may act without prior notice where necessary. The Portal does not operate a formal appeals process. A User may ask the Portal Operator to review an action by writing to the contact address in Section 25, and the Portal Operator will consider the request at its discretion.

18.3

A User may stop using the Portal at any time, may remove the User's own Marketplace Listings and Lost & Found reports, and may ask for deletion of the Account as described in the Privacy Policy.

18.4

When access ends, the User's right to use the Portal ends and the User's Content may be removed. Records that are needed for safety, abuse prevention or legal purposes may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy. The provisions on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law continue to apply after access ends.

19.Disclaimers

19.1

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Portal is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

19.2

The Portal is unofficial. It gives no warranty that any information is the position of FAST-NUCES, and the Official classification is not a warranty of institutional authority.

19.3

The Portal gives no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy or timeliness of information, including timetables, examination schedules, the Academic Calendar, the Campus Directory, room information, the Cafe Menu and prayer times.

19.4

The Portal does not verify, endorse or guarantee User Content or the conduct of Users, and is not responsible for Marketplace transactions, Lost & Found exchanges, Connections or the outcome of any interaction between Users.

19.5

The Portal does not guarantee that a Jama'ah Session will result in a physical congregation, and any academic planning or calculation tool is informational only.

19.6

The Portal is not responsible for the content, availability or conduct of Third-Party Services or external sites.

19.7

Use of a Service does not relieve a User of the responsibility to confirm information through official channels. Reliance on information displayed in the Portal, including in the Exams feature, is at the User's own risk.

19.8

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

20.Limitation of Liability

20.1

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Portal Operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of data, profit or opportunity, arising from the use of or inability to use the Portal, or from reliance on Content, including any consequence of a missed class or examination.

20.2

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Portal Operator is not liable for the acts or omissions of Users or third parties, or for the outcome of any transaction, meeting, exchange or communication between Users.

20.3

The Portal is provided free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Portal Operator's total liability in connection with the Portal is limited to the amount, if any, that the User has paid to the Portal Operator for the Service giving rise to the claim.

20.4

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

21.Indemnification

21.1

To the extent permitted by applicable law, a User agrees to indemnify the Portal Operator against claims, losses, damages and reasonable expenses that arise from the User's User Content, from the User's breach of these Terms or the other Legal Documents, or from the User's violation of law or of the rights of a third party.

21.2

This Section does not apply where applicable law prohibits it.

22.Privacy

22.1

The collection, use, visibility and retention of personal information in the Portal are described in the Privacy Policy, which is separate from these Terms and applies to every User.

22.2

A User can control certain aspects of how the User appears to other Users in the Account privacy settings. Those controls are described in the Privacy Policy.

23.Changes to These Terms

23.1

The Portal Operator may update these Terms. Each version of these Terms has a version number, an effective date and a last updated date, which are stated at the top of this page.

23.2

Where a change is material, the Portal Operator will update the version number and the last updated date and may give additional notice within the Portal where practicable.

23.3

Continued use of the Portal after the effective date of an updated version constitutes acceptance of that version. A User who does not accept an updated version should stop using the Portal and may ask for deletion of the Account. The Portal does not currently operate a separate consent workflow for updated versions of these Terms.

24.Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

24.1

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles.

24.2

A User who has a dispute with the Portal Operator is asked first to describe it in writing to the contact address in Section 25, so that the parties can attempt to resolve it in good faith.

24.3

A dispute that is not resolved informally may be brought before a competent court or authority in accordance with applicable law. These Terms do not limit any mandatory right that a User has under applicable law.

24.4

Disputes between Users are the responsibility of those Users.

25.Contact and Legal and Safety Reporting

25.1

The Portal's public contact address is wamizphantom@gmail.com. It is used for questions, feedback, privacy requests, legal notices, sponsorship enquiries and the reports described in this Section.

25.2

25.3

A Marketplace Listing may be reported from its listing page, and a User, a Connection request or a message may be reported from the Connections and Chat screens. These reports are recorded for review by the Portal Operator.

25.4

A report should state the category, the date and the location of the matter, and should include a link to the page, listing or Notice concerned where there is one. A report should not include passwords or information that is not needed to review it.
